Sally Hansen offers a wide range of great products and retailer shelf space is limited, so stores usually choose those that sell the best for them. Give your local store a call to see if they carry your favorites, and visit our store locator to find the closest retailer to you.
Before we place a product on the market, we assess it thoroughly to ensure it is safe for human use and for the environment and that it is compliant with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Our safety assessment of cosmetic ingredients is based on the use of recognized alternatives to animal testing, the use of existing safety and increasingly the sharing of such data from and with other industries.
Post-consumer collection of packaging components is not available in all areas where our products are sold. We encourage consumers to check with local authorities for this information. Individual plastic caps may be sorted into the plastic category and glass bottles into the glass category. For your safety, we urge you not to disassemble pump/reducer caps from bottles as this may pose a safety hazard. Folding cartons may be sorted into the paper category, although laminated cardboard is less frequently recycled.
Expiration dates are clearly printed on a product package, when applicable, as required by law. An expiration date confirms the presence of an active ingredient and provides the date after which the product will not perform as indicated.
A benefit to our nail polishes is that they are free of these added ingredients!
